HealthFacts 101: Introduction to HealthFacts

HealthFacts 101: Introduction to HealthFacts

Health Facts® is a de-identified research database comprising health care data recorded during the course of day-to-day patient care encounters and aggregated from health systems that contribute to the database. Cerner maps, merges, and organizes the data into one database of consistent data elements suitable for research. Health Facts® incorporates data from 90 health systems and over 600 facilities located in the United States.

The workshop is designed to introduce the HealthFacts system including login, accessing HealthFacts data, and understanding the content of the database.

This is an interactive workshop. Computers are available in the classroom for all participants. Visit ShowMe Portal in MU Medicine Website for accessing HealthFacts and requesting a user account. Contact with Abu Saleh Mohammad Mosa (Email: informatics@health.missouri.edu) for any questions.
