Artificial Intelligence & Chatbots (via Zoom)

Artificial intelligence producing a sonnet? AI writing a scientific paper? AI taking the bar exam? We are all hearing about ChatGPT and what a disruptor it will be on our society. Chatbots are artificial intelligence geared to using a chat-like interface for answering questions and requests. This session will introduce you to the various chatbots, and their possibilities and limitations. Test the chatbots with your own questions, and compare to human-created answers. Learn how chat bots can affect the academic world and how our students might use the chatbots in their work. Learn how bias may exist in the results, what types of errors can be generated, and how you can use AI intelligently in your own work.

To use ChatGPT in the workshop, sign up for an account at https://chat.openai.com/auth/login.
