Medical Rare Books in Special Collections

Special Collections and Dr. Richard J. Barohn, Hugh E. and Sarah D. Stephenson dean of the Mizzou School of Medicine, welcome you to a showcase of rare materials related to the history of science! We've curated a selection of early modern books related to astronomy, physics and evolution, by authors such as Galileo Galilei, Robert Hooke and Charles Darwin.

For physics, we have two eighteenth-century titles written by Isaac Newton. Finally, we have treatises by Thomas Willis and Charles Bell, both noted contributors to the study of neurology. These books and many others will be available to you within this special class.

Registration is required; limited spaces available!
