REDCap 101: Introduction to Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap)
The workshop is designed to help users navigate REDCap more efficiently. REDCap is a secure, web-based application for building and managing online surveys and databases. It provides automated export procedures for seamless data downloads to Excel and other common statistical programs, such as SPSS, SAS, Stata and R. REDCap also has a built-in project calendar, scheduling module, adhoc reporting tools and other advanced features, including branching logic, file uploading and calculated fields.
This is an interactive workshop. Computers are available in the classroom for all participants. REDCap is available on the ShowMe Portal, which is accessible from the MU Medicine Website.
Location: Health Sciences Library, Room 117
