Library Assignment Description: a.            Write an annotated bibliography that covers five to seven sources of your research on an approved research question pertaining to our discussions and work related to The Complete Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi.  Note:  Your sources should not all support the same idea—you want to have a diverse understanding of the problem.  By only considering one idea, you limit your ability, as the author, to understand the context of the situation. 

b.            In order to write an annotated bibliography, you have to do research.  Before you begin researching for this assignment, you have to come up with a research question.  Your research question must be approved before you begin researching.   

c.             Your works must be formatted in MLA or APA citation style.

d.            Your annotation must include a summary, an assessment, and a reflection of each source.  See Purdue Owl (https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/614/01/ ) for more guidance. 

e.            Your paper must meet the formal writing conventions as set forth in the syllabus and as set forth by MLA or APA standards.  Whichever style you choose to format your sources in is the style you must also format your paper in.  Make sure you correctly format your paper and that you have edited it for grammar and spelling errors before turning in a final copy.
